Rowley Lane Colour Run - Case Study

Rowley Lane Colour Run - Case Study

We've supplied hundreds of Parent Teacher Associations with colour powder this year, but if we HAD to choose a favourite, Rowley Lane would be up there! These guys make PTA Fundraising look easy, and they've very kindly shared some photo's and feedback following this years colour run!

Who are Rowley Lane PTA and what is your role?

I’m Katie, I’m vice chair of the PTA at Rowley lane junior infant and nursery school. We are a two form entry primary school based in Lepton, Huddersfield.

How did you first hear about Ministry of Colours?

We held our second colour run this year, which was another great success.
I first came across ministry of colour when I Google searched ‘host a colour run’.

What caught your eye when you visited our website?

I found the ministry of colour website easy to navigate around. I made an initially enquiry and was put in touch with Abi. Abi was great from start to finish, when it came to offering advice, delivering our products and going above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly.

Why did you use Minsitry of Colours over the competition?

We chose ministry of colour due to their competitive prices, friendly customer services and of course because they are local to us, here in Huddersfield.

If fundraising, how much did you raise?

Our 2 sponsored colour runs have raised a massive £9000, an incredible amount of money which is going to go towards improving our outdoor provisions.

How did you use our products and how did the event/day go?

Our colour runs ran very smoothly. We purchased colour powder which our volunteers used to shower our runners in as they ran through our stations. We also sold the small paint packs prior to the events, our participants loved throwing these around before the run began. It really ignited the excitement. The colours are so bright and vibrant, the turquoise was definitely the most popular. Additional to this we also bought and sold merchandise for the event (skirts, whistles, visors), these went down really well. As a keepsake for our runners we purchased a ‘colour run’ wristband for them on completion of the run.

Would you recommend Ministry of Colours to others?

We would highly recommend ministry of colours and our advice to anyone considering hosting a colour run, is DO IT 😁😁
